Los Angeles Territory SALES Manager
The Territory Sales Manager is an energetic, self-motivated and creative individual with strong leadership capabilities and a desire to drive Mission Brewery sales & brand awareness. The TSM’s initiative will enhance the sales volume and merchandising impact in a geographical area of responsibility while maintaining good working relationships with distributors, retailers, consumers and co-workers.
Work independently and with distributors to build positive working relationships and increase share of mind
Achieve monthly sales and distribution targets
Manage expectations of brand standards
Conduct sales meetings, rallies and brand launches
Train distributor’s sales force as required
Manage local POS inventory & order as needed
Schedule and participate in periodic “work with” with distributor reps
Account Merchandising, Building and Maintenance
Open new accounts & build consumer awareness in existing accounts
Establish working knowledge of territory’s potential new account base
Continually place Point-of-Sale materials that capture retailer and consumer attention
Set up promotion & sampling events to drive consumer awareness
Participate in festivals & various tasting events
Required Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
3+ years Consumer Package Goods experience preferred
Craft beer sales experience preferred
Proficient Microsoft Office skills
Track record of meeting & exceeding goals
Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities
Strong communication skills: verbal, listening, written and organizational
Capable of seeking out new ideas, exhibit initiative and be proactive
Strong competitive intelligence within the marketplace
Must have valid driver's license
Must have Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with 0 major violations within past 3 years
Physical Demands of the Job:
Ability to lift 40+ LBS

Package beer in accordance with packaging procedures
Ensure brewery cleanliness by completing all assigned cleaning and CIP tasks
Help maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled
Complete shift paperwork as outlined in our operating procedures
Communicate with appropriate department heads to minimize downtime
Complete preventive maintenance tasks as outlined on our PM schedule
Log all packaging as outlined in our operating procedures
Bottling and Canning:
Work as a line operator to package beer for orders
Ensure quality by inspecting all products as they are processed
Work with the shift lead to complete setups, change-overs and clean-ups in a timely manner
Clean and organize dirty kegs
Organize defective kegs
Complete kegging runs for orders
Represent and promote Mission Brewery in a positive manner to guests, local residents and the general public.
Attend meetings and training courses as directed.
Follow all operational procedures as outlined in our SOP’s.
Assist with deliveries if and when necessary.
Help maintain a high level of cleanliness by cleaning workspaces, neatening trash and recycling and cleaning up after guests.
Maintain a positive attitude when dealing with challenging issues.
Other duties, as needed.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Mechanical experience and problem resolution skills.
Great attention to detail.
Education & Training:
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum six months of brewery experience preferred.

The noise level in the work environment is usually very high. The work areas are often wet and require personal protection to be worn in them. Strong chemicals are used, personal protection is required when handling them. Production staff often stand in one place for most of their shift and do repetitive motions.
